Itinerary

10:00 PM: Arrival in Puerto Vallarta Airport

  • Private airport transfer to your hotel is included (air-conditioned vehicle with an English-speaking driver)
  • Water will be provided in the car

Everyone must be in by 10:00 PM. You will have to book your own flights to Puerto Vallarta Airport so make sure you arrive on this date. If you need booking assistance, our travel experts will help you find the best flight at a good rate.

You will be picked up at the airport by our VIP drivers. They will be waiting for you at the arrivals gate holding a sign with your name. The car type is a Sedan (Toyota Vios or similar).

Optional: If you are arriving before 10:00 PM, join our group for a welcome dinner and drinks at a bar!

8:00 AM – Sayulita walking tour

First, we will go for breakfast at an all-day breakfast place in town. You can choose your orders in advance in the menu which will be given to you upon arrival (international food).

Then we will go around town and see all the colors of Sayulita. This is a walking tour so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and clothing. We will give you all the time to do all your pictures on the Instagram spots that we visit.

2:00 – 4:00 PM: Free time

Go back to the hotel, shower, take a nap, relax, and get ready for the afternoon.

5:00 PM: Sunset hike to the beach

We will go to a secret beach on foot. The walk to the beach is a canopy so it won’t be that hot. The hike is about 30 minutes from your accommodation. We will also bring snacks and food for a picnic at the beach. We’ll stay til sunset!

8:00 PM: Dinner (Mexican Food)

We will head to a Mexican restaurant and you’ll be introduced to traditional dishes in the region of Nayarit. You can choose fom seafood, meat, vegetables, and poultry.

9:30 PM: Drinks at a local bar (optional)

After dinner, you can go back to the hotel or join the group for a round of drinks at a local bar in Sayulita.

8:00 AM: Sufing lessons

Before heading to the beach, we will pick up organic breakfast like acai bowls, smoothies, and raw foods for your surfing lessons. Then we will meet a local family who will teach us the basics of surfing. Sayulita is a surfing town so you will love this activity!

12:00 – 2:00 PM: free time

Go back to the hotel, shower, take a nap, relax, and get ready for the afternoon.

2:00 – 5:00 PM: Cooking class and late lunch

You will attend a Mexican cooking class where you’ll learn from a local chef. We will tour the vegetable garden and learn about the sustainability and ethics of growing food in Sayulita. After the cooking class, we will eat everything we cooked!

5:00 PM: Free time

Go back to the hotel, shower, take a nap, relax, and get ready for the evening.

7:00 PM: Street food taco tour

We will go around town and taste all the best tacos. We will also introduce you to the taco culture of Mexico.

9:30 AM – 2:30 PM: Marietas Islands Tour

We will visit Marietas Islands, one of the most famous hidden beach in Mexico. Here, you will swim, snorkel, and visit the islands with a local fisherman on a boat.

3:00 PM – Late lunch

After the tour, we will have a late lunch on the beach (seafood).

5:00 PM: Free time

Go back to the hotel, shower, take a nap, relax, and get ready for the evening.

7:00 PM: Dinner and farewell party

This is our last night in Sayulita! We will go for an Asian dinner (Thai) and afterwards, go to a bar to celebrate our week in Sayulita!

Farewell brunch (optional)

For those who are not flying out til noon, we can all go together and have brunch in town. Everyone will be picked up by their respective drivers to get to Puerto Vallarta. Please note that you need to leave Sayulita at least 3 hours before your flight.

Tour Essentials

  • Physical Level (Easy): Sayulita is a walking town with no uphill/elevated streets. The town is flat and the streets are cobblestones. This tour is great for all ages.
  • Accommodation: We will stay in a serviced apartment within 2 minutes to the beach and to almost everywhere in the center of town. This area is also very safe.
  • Transportation: We will be walking for most of the trip within Sayulita. If we are to go to the next town, we will have an air-conditioned vehicle/van. All airport transfers are also included in the final tour price.
  • Meals: All meals are included in this tour, except for alcoholic drinks.

Where we are staying

We will be staying in a hotel apartment in the center walking distance to everything which is also a safe area. All participants will have a private room to themselves.
