October 28, 29, 30, and 31, 2023

• Learn how to cook a tamal recipe with the host’s family
• Learn about the pre-Hispanic ritual of tamal
• Create a Day of the Dead altar
• Handicrafts-making for the altar
• Learn about day of the dead traditions

November 1, 2023

• Visit a local cemetery with the host’s family
• Experience day of the dead in a Mexican cemetery
• Mingle and make friends with locals in the cemetery
• Learn how to respect cemeteries during day of the dead

November 2 & 3, 2023

• Create a Day of the Dead altar
• Handicrafts-making for the altar
• Learn about day of the dead traditions

This Mexico City day of the dead activity is only available from October 28 – November 3, 2023 from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM.

This is a small group tour where you will join other travelers (10 per group).

Customized and private tours are free to choose any time and date they prefer.
