How to get to Cabo Pulmo National Park

To get to Cabo Pulmo National Park, fly into Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) and rent a car for the scenic drive. The park is located about 100 kilometers (62 miles) northeast of Cabo San Lucas, a journey that takes approximately 2 hours by car.

Follow Highway 1 towards San José del Cabo, then continue on the East Cape road (Coastal Road) towards La Ribera. From La Ribera, take the turnoff to Cabo Pulmo. The road is partially paved and gravel, suitable for most vehicles, but a high-clearance vehicle is recommended for comfort.
