If you’re searching for a place to eat after partying all night, visiting Tacos Del Carmen is a must. It is a small street cart serving one of Oaxaca’s best tacos. This street cart has been dishing out its famous tacos since 1977, and they have a few tables and chairs available to eat in. 

When visiting this spot, try their Chili Relleno taco – made with freshly-made tortillas filled with roasted spiced ground pork, chilies, and queso de Oaxaca. Another best-selling taco is Chorizo Taco, made with freshly-made tortillas stuffed with chorizo and queso de Oaxaca.

These two menus cost around $2 USD, but they also have a few dishes that are only $1 USD. 

Lechoncito de Oro

Lechoncito de Oro’s specialty is its succulent lechon or roasted suckling pig. Of course, they also have tortas, tostadas, or tacos, which you can pair with various toppings or fillings, such as Lechon with chicharrón (crispy fried pork belly) or lechon with pierna (tender pork leg). 

Food prices here range from $5 USD to $15 USD. They do not accept cards as payment, so bring cash with you.
